Background

Photobox have a very active transactional website with a large and rapidly evolving product offering. In some cases the pages describing these products had become overloaded with content, complicating rather than adding value to the buying process. Christmas was coming.

Objectives

The objective was very clear: to have an instant impact on sales of core, time critical product lines (such as customised cards and calendars) in the immediate run up to Christmas.

Target Audience

Photobox have a broad user base and we needed to appeal to all their online users. They position themselves strongly with an emphasis on product innovation and service quality rather than price.

Solution

We produced a series of inspiring new product and range pages, working from the ground up to show the products clearly and communicate the key features concisely. Pages were themed; images became bigger; dimensions became graphical; prices were more prominent; descriptions were trimmed and bulleted; call-to-action buttons were clear and consistent.
