Background
Computacenter, Europe's leading independent IT services provider, has taken a 12 person box at the new Wembley Stadium. This is to be used for their highest level of corporate hospitality – The Computacenter Premier Events Programme.
Objectives
1. To design and develop a slick invitation process that was sophisticated enough to match the hospitality but simple enough to gain a quick response from board-level invitees
2. The web site had to have the capability to add new event information and deliver a set of invitation emails within 24 hours of receiving the brief
Solution
Personalised html emails including a unique invite ID code which linked through to a standalone Premier Events website were designed. When invitees logged into the site with the code they were taken to their personal invitation page which was pre-populated with address details. They then checked their personal details before tickets were dispatched. Users could also enter dietary or any other special requirements and print off a branded, personalised A4 itinerary sheet to bring with them on the day.
Results
The campaign achieved fantastic response rates from a hard-to-reach C-level audience. In one case six out of ten invitations received a positive response within an hour of sending.
