Background
Computacenter is Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructures and has over 20 years of supplying ICT to Public Sector organisations. They also have 10 years of Catalist accreditation. The Education sector is undergoing radical changes; ICT is enabling teaching establishments to pioneer new methods of learning and training – electronically. The Information Age brings many benefits to schools and colleges but with it comes the need for expert advice on solutions, technical assistance and choice of products. Computacenter are keen to gain market share and establish themselves as a preferred and trusted advisor to the education sector.
Objective
1. To raise awareness of Computacenter within the Education Sector
2. To promote a range of relevant vendor products
Solution
A 4 page brochure was produced which was very much product and price focused on the inside spread but the imagery used on the front cover was education focused rather than IT. The message communicated was that Computacenter make IT procurement simple. It was essential to show that Computacenter are Catalist accredited and it needed a strong call to action to encourage the ICT managers to contact Computacenter to find out more.
Results
10% increase on enquiries, awaiting for conversion figures.
